Cowboy's Favorite Print

Originally painted by Bria Hammock on an oak barrel head from Pine Bluffs Distilling, **Cowboy’s Favorite** is inspired by a cowboy poem of the same name and plays with scale in a way that makes the landscape feel almost impossibly big. A lone cowboy stands in a wide stretch of gold beneath a massive blue rock formation, small enough that you have to look twice to find him.

Bold blues, soft greens and bright yellow give the piece an almost dreamlike feel, while the tiny figure keeps it grounded in something recognizably Western. It leaves you wondering whether he came here on purpose, whether this is somewhere he knows by heart, or whether he’s just stopped for a minute to take it all in. The original seams, grain and texture of the oak barrel remain visible in the print, adding another layer of character to the piece.
