Grey's River Roundup // Bria Hammock Original
Painted by Bria on an oak barrel head from Pine Bluffs Distilling, Grey’s River Roundup is inspired by Howard Norskog’s cowboy poem of the same name. This one gets in close, with a horse face filling the barrel head and a simple monochrome pattern sitting quietly behind it.
There’s something steady and knowing about it, like the horse has seen the whole day unfold and isn’t in any big hurry to explain it. Like the poem, the piece hints at the rhythm of roundup life, the dust, the work, the stories, and the small moments you only catch if you’re paying attention.
